A Channeled Prophecy, Come to Pass

with 4 comments

On November 17, 1989, I experienced something I’ll never forget.

At the time, I was not a Spiritualist, although I believed in angels and the Holy Spirit. I’d been listening and transcribing what I understood as the “voice of God” for only two months.

Soon after I fell asleep that night, I was dramatically awakened by a spiritual presence. I felt impressed—no, strongly led—downstairs where the streetlight shone through the living room windows onto the hardwood floor. I opened my Bible there and definitely felt directed to the first chapter of the prophet Daniel.

It was as if an unseen angel stood over my shoulder and highlighted the words of the following passage:

To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds.
—Daniel 1:17 NIV

Daniel 1:17, dated in my Bible

I say “as if,” but I now believe this is exactly what happened: My guide woke me, led me downstairs, and pointed out this verse as a prophetic indicator of my purpose and destiny. I still remember the powerful presence that overshadowed me.

It has taken 25 years, but this message is finally coming to pass.

I have studied and practiced all kinds of writing. I’ve earned a BA in English, a master’s in biblical studies, a master’s in genre fiction writing, and I’ve completed the Morris Pratt Institute course in Spiritualism and mediumship. In 2007 I experienced a profound psychic awakening, and I am now applying my abilities to psychic and metaphysical pursuits.

If you are diligent to learn and practice the things you are uniquely interested in, one day they may pave the way for you to fulfill your destiny.

  1. Nice post, Lee. This is what I’d call a waking dream. I think people can have them in all types of ways, like through something you might read in any book or magazine or through some occurrence that particularly strikes you. I think it’s the eternal part of ourselves coming through with a message to our human consciousness.

  2. That’s an interesting insight, Sally. I agree. I think we come into this life with a plan and purpose. It can take many years for our personality to line up with our soul’s intent. At times, we catch glimpses of what our higher self is trying to communicate to us, and they come in many ways–what you call the waking drream. I think inspiration for fiction writing is similar, but that’s a subject for another post. 🙂
