Spirit says it’s time to enter phase 2 of my ministry. In this series, I share the messages I’ve been getting and how the prophetic word breaks through the snow and blooms into something beautiful.
Reflection in a glass doorWhen Spirit speaks about the future, it’s as if the message first appears as a reflection in a glass door. We consider its vague transparency and then dismiss it, only to find that later God has opened the door so that we may see through clearly to the scene ahead and then step forth to experience it as a foreordained event.
Now it is like looking in a looking-glass which does not make things clear. We cannot see and understand things plainly. But when things become perfect, then we shall fully know and understand everything, just as God knows.
—1 Corinthians 13:12 WE
In years past, Spirit foretold that light would come and make the way for me to enter the second phase of my ministry. That it would change my channeling.
On January 27, 2015 (channeling session #247), my guides said they desire to make me “a pure channel, a clean channel, a powerful channel to speak not just to one but to the many.” They promised to do their part to “strengthen that highway, to build that infrastructure through which energy and information may flow like a waterfall of light, wisdom, revelation, and understanding.” Then Spirit said:
Know that you shall receive a boost in the coming months. By the time the crocus springs through the snow, you will have achieved a milestone that takes you to—as a springboard—to the next step in the evolution of your ministry.
This is a year of change, this is a year of communication, this is a year of establishment, and this is a year of launching. We’ve launched you before, but we desire to launch you into stage two of the ministry that we have for you.
We have it all planned out beforehand. We have a path for you to follow. We desire that you follow it with diligence and with sincerity. Apply yourself to meditation, to prayer, and to practicing your connection so that we might be able to strengthen your skills and to expand your abilities to bring forth messages of import and influence.
Finally, Spirit gives a definite time frame for a destined event! By the time spring flowers appear, I will receive a boost and achieve a milestone that springboards me to the next development in my ministry. This year (2015) I will see change, communication, establishment, and launching.
Messages Through the Melting Snow
9“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10As the RAIN and the SNOW
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11so is my WORD that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”
—Isaiah 55:9-11 NIV
When you channel information from higher sources, it’s like precipitation from heaven. Some falls as rain—immediately understandable and readily absorbed into the soil of your heart.
But some messages are like snow—frozen, crystallized. Although you receive the, they lie curiously on your mind but do not sink in. You’re not sure what the message means. It makes no sense at the present moment. Its potential meaning lies dormant until the light and heat of Spirit at some later point melt it and make its content accessible to you. It’s like seeing a reflection in a glass door without looking through the door.
Yet, with the warm breath of Spirit blows, the “snow message” melts and insight springs forth. The words delivered even years ago now melt and water dormant seeds in your heart, nourishing them to blossom.
Spirit communication, whether it comes down like rain or show, achieves its purpose when you reach the point on your path when it’s useful to further your progress and it’s time to advance the Kingdom of God in the earth.
During channeling session #250, February 5, 2015, my guides spoke further about phase 2:
We are going before you to prepare the way into the next phase of your life and your ministry. For it has been a year since we first revealed that you were to move and stepped up the process of relocation, the finding and the sale of your houses. Now that you are established here, we desire to establish you in the world of Spirit and the world of ministry. We are going before you to make the connections necessary for you to be the voice that we have called you to be.
For we have called you to be a voice calling, of one crying in the wilderness, “Prepare the way of the Lord.” And we shall prepare this way, and you shall prepare that way for others, for them to receive insight and to receive direction and to receive upliftment, and to chart their own course and their own path to the Christed self.
Spirit gave me nine months to settle in my new home in Jamestown. Now they want to establish me in Spirit and in ministry, which involves connection with others. Toward this end, they renew a long-time call to be a “voice in the wilderness.”
I feel my ministry is for outcasts, the disenfranchised, those who don’t fit in, and may include good old-fashioned Pentecostal evangelism.
I’ll share more about this next post. Till then, seek God and be faithful until your change comes.

Spirit is telling me it’s time to enter phase 2 of my ministry. In this series, I’ll share the messages I’ve been getting and how the prophetic word breaks through the snow.
Medium Sara Sachs gave me a message on January 9, 2011, that I should “Take this time to reflect and study. You’re preparing for the future. When the snow melts, things will really start to happen for you.”
Well, I’m always studying, so I didn’t think much about this message. However, a few months later Spirit did indicate I would be ascending in consciousness: Three Ravens in One Day (March 13, 2011).
You’ll see the greater meaning of this message when I share what’s next. When Spirit speaks, it’s as if the message first appears as a reflection in a glass door. We consider its vague transparency and then dismiss it, only to find that later God has opened the door so that we may see through clearly to the scene ahead and then step forth to experience it as a foreordained event.
Three years later (March 30, 2014) during channeling session #166, I ascended to the higher realms, where my guide K said:
For light is ever descending to humankind to brighten their path, to provide the wisdom and the guidance that they need to continue to expand, to continue to grow, to continue to evolve to higher and higher levels.
We desire this light, this information, to cascade down into your realm as a waterfall from on high. Open yourself to this stream of consciousness, and we will begin to pour forth high and brilliant light into your mind, into your spirit, into your being.
I opened myself to this downpour of light. I lifted my head like a funnel and raised my arms. Clairvoyantly I saw this waterfall of light coming, splashing down upon me, felt it pounding on my head and face. My eyelids fluttered in the brightness.
I sensed I was being filled up and lifted up. Floating. I had been in some kind of a tank, and now it was full and flowing over the side. I watched it pour forth as a river of light, sunny, golden like honey, flowing across the Jordan River into my Promised Land.
The light shall now make a way for you for the second phase of your work. For you have submitted to the tutelage of Spirit, and you are entering into a new phase, beginning with your birthday. You will see a marked increase of insight, wisdom, ideas, and revelation coming from higher realms, from a broader perspective, [that will be] more far-reaching and more deeply penetrating than what you have received before.
This was the Spirit’s first mention of the “second phase” of my work. After my birthday on April 2, things certainly picked up as Sara Sachs foretold in 2011—following dreams about relocating, I bought a house in Jamestown, New York, and picked up and moved at the direction of Spirit. This was my physical relocation to my “Promised Land.”
Changes in channeling
Establishing a new household and continuing my second year of studies at Fellowships of the Spirit in Lily Dale kept me busy last summer and fall. On December 1, 2014 (session #231), my guides promised:
Through the turn of the year you shall see a change in the way that you approach your channeling work and the way that it is discharged and the way that it is delivered through you. We will guide you to all that we would have you to do, we will guide you for all that we would have you to say, and all the arrangements that you must make for the next phase of your work for Spirit.
So far, we’ve seen only the reflection in the glass. Next time, we’ll look through the door into 2015. Until then, trust God and listen for the voice of Spirit.

Since I first began recording the words of Spirit in August 1989, I’ve had thousands of sessions and written millions of words. But on May 29, 2010, I began channeling a new guide verbally, recording the sessions on digital audio.
This morning I channeled my 200th session from the higher realms, and I’m in awe of how Spirit has developed me and what my guides have said in the past four years.
They are preparing me for public work, which I believe will commence this year. Here’s a small portion of what they said through me today.
We desire to open your eyes to see, and we desire to open your mind that you may receive and understand that which we show you. We will show you and then we will tell you that which we would have you to know. We will show you and we will explain to you that which we have shown you.
For we desire to teach and to educate you about the things of Spirit. And we will lead you and guide you, taking you by the hand and showing you all that which we have promised to reveal unto you. And this revelation begins even now, for you have prepared yourself and you have practiced the way to ascend and to connect yourself with the higher energies. …
For you have only just begun that which we desire to do through you. And now that we have established these tests and that we have established these practice sessions, we shall now begin in earnest to pour through you the wisdom, light, revelation, and understanding that we have destined to send through you, not just for yourself, but for others.
For we have many that we would speak to in this hour. We have many that we have prepared for the things to come. We desire that they come and that they receive messages and wisdom from on high so that they may be equipped to walk their life’s path and to fulfill the purpose of this incarnation so that the kingdom of heaven may be manifest upon this plane.
Although I’m still humbled about messages such as these, I look forward to speaking to others the words of Spirit, that they might be guided and grow on their path to the higher life. I pray these messages are a blessing to the individuals and groups I will speak to.
I’ll keep you posted on my progress. In love and light,
—Rev. Lee Allen Howard, Mystic & Minister
If you have no working relationship with Higher Consciousness—what I call “Spirit”—but are interested in developing one, how do you go about making that connection? A passage from the Book of Hebrews fundamentally explains how.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.–Hebrews 11:6 NIV
In this study I want to separate the spiritual principle revealed here from its religious trappings, because developing a relationship with the Universe has nothing to do with religion. But it does require faith.
The chapter leading up to this verse talks about faith. It begins with: “Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]” (AMP).
Faith is a metaphysical concept that says you can hope for and believe in things that have not yet physically happened. Faith is, in fact, the power that brings them into manifestation.
When I order a book from Amazon.com and they send me an email saying my order is being processed, I have faith that what I cannot actually see is nonetheless underway. And when I receive the second email telling me my order has shipped, I believe that the seller has packaged the item and sent it on its way to me.
When I placed the order, did I know how it would be delivered to me (by UPS or the US Postal Service)? No. Nor do I know what day it will arrive. But I have faith that what I do not actually see is happening behind the scenes.
So, even though my physical senses have no proof, I believe my book is coming. (The emails are signs that help me to believe, but they are not the actual manifestation of what I’ve ordered.)
Hebrews 1 also talks about a man named Enoch. Enoch had a faith relationship with Higher Consciousness. He communicated with Spirit, and Spirit responded. He made requests in faith, and received physical manifestations in return. He ordered his life around this principle, what verses 5-6 call “pleasing God.”
Personifying Higher Consciousness as “God” strengthens the religious stranglehold on metaphysical concepts that work for everyone, regardless of church affiliation. So I’ll translate the phrase “please God” to “satisfy the requirements.”
Satisfying the Requirements
To form a metaphysical relationship with Spirit, you must satisfy the primary requirement of having faith. If you want to manifest things in the material world, you must begin by believing it’s possible to do so. In other words, you must be open-minded and willing to entertain ideas and possibilities without first having proof. In fact, it is the belief that you will receive a positive response from Higher Consciousness that eventually produces observable proof of your trust.
Actually, you must have faith in two things:
- There is some form of Higher Consciousness.
- This Higher Consciousness will respond to you if you reach out to it.
If you’ve never tried this before, how do you know it will work? You don’t—any more than I knew I would receive my first delivery from Amazon. But I tried it with an open mind and found out it the process is dependable.
Are you willing to entertain the notion that some form of Higher Consciousness—Spirit, the Universe, some intelligent energy—exists outside yourself? If so, you can develop an ongoing relationship of trust and continued interchange between you and that higher power.
Spirit Is a Rewarder
A simple test is to ask for something to manifest in your life: an opportunity, a situation, an item. Communicate to Spirit in whatever way makes sense to you. Project positive thoughts and imaginations that you have already received what you desire. Expressing gratitude that your request is already fulfilled also helps. Send these requests, these thoughts, out with faith that Higher Consciousness has heard you and is responding. I share an example of this process in The Geese and the Feather.
If you don’t see immediate results, don’t change your mind tomorrow or next week, saying “It’s not working.” Trust that it is. Believe that Spirit is a rewarder of those who diligently seek a metaphysical relationship that results in manifestation.
The word rewarder means “one who pays wages.” The Universe is a responsive energy, power, or being, if you will, that responds to specific requests made and upheld with faith. But you must earnestly seek this relationship and believe that you’ll receive a response to your request. Crave it. Demand it with confidence. Be joyous and thankful for the answer.
If you have never before experienced this type of responsive relationship with Higher Consciousness, you can. These principles hold true whatever you call it: the Universe, Spirit, God, spirit beings, angels, or your higher self. Believe that there is a higher power that can communicate. Make your request known in faith, and continue believing until it manifests. Then you’ll know that Spirit exists and rewards those who honor spiritual relationship.
I’m interested to hear about your results. May your greatest dreams manifest in joy for you.
Do you ever feel hindered in doing what you really feel you’re supposed to do in life? Here’s how to ensure you get what you need to do what you’re called to do.
The Benefits of Walking Uprightly
“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”
–Psalm 84:11 NKJ
What does it mean to “walk uprightly”? Let’s begin by defining all the key words from this passage:
- Sun—open, public light
- Shield—defense, cover, surrounding
- Glory—abundance, riches, honor, dignity, reputation
- Good—pleasant, agreeable, valuable
- Withhold—keep back, deny, hinder
- Walk—go, proceed, lead
- Uprightly—complete, whole, entire, sound, healthful, unimpaired, innocent, having integrity, what is complete or entirely in accord with truth and fact.
This verse is telling us that AS you “walk uprightly”—actively taking steps in faith to fulfill your purpose with integrity; surrendering completely, fully, sincerely, and wholeheartedly—God, who is Spirit, will be like sunshine to light your path, a shield to protect you on your way. God will give grace for your journey and provide the Spirit’s glorious presence. Spirit will supply all good things to meet your needs to fulfill your purpose.
What else will you get?
You Will Receive Illumination, Revelation, and Protection
If you conduct your life in such a way, endeavoring to remain honest with yourself and others, you will “tabernacle” with the Divine and dwell on God’s holy hill (Psalm 15:1-2). This speaks of spiritual communion that leads to an elevation of consciousness—revelation that furnishes the direction and guidance you need to make progress on your unique path.
God stores up a treasure of wisdom for the one who walks uprightly, shielding her, guarding her path and protecting her (Proverbs 2:7-8), ensuring that she walks safely and securely (Proverbs 10:9; 28:18) leading her along a straight course (Proverbs 3:6; 15:21).
You Will Receive Expanded Vision and Material Supply
“He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, He who despises the gain of oppressions, Who gestures with his hands, refusing bribes, Who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, And shuts his eyes from seeing evil: He will dwell on high; His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks; Bread will be given him, water will be sure. Your eyes will see the King in His beauty; They will see the land that is very far off.”
–Isaiah 33:15-17 NKJ
By walking uprightly (stepping out in faith bravely, sincerely, and wholeheartedly), you will “dwell on the heights,” where you will experience an advantage in vision and enjoy the utmost safety and security, as in a fortress.
Bread (and the sustaining word of God—Matt 4:4) will be provided abundantly for your needs, and water (refreshment and insight) is certain.
You will encounter God in beauty, sweetness, pleasantness, joy.
You will see “the land that is very far off.” You will peer clairvoyantly into the future, knowing what lies ahead and where you are to go.
“Is the Spirit of the Lord restricted? … Do not My words do good to him who walks uprightly?” (Micah 2:7 NKJ) God will not restrict the Spirit’s prophetic word to those who walk uprightly. Spiritual direction and guidance are vital to fulfilling your purpose effectively.
Step Out for Direction and Support
A favorite passage of mine has always been:
“The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step]. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him.”
–Psalm 37:23-24 AMP
You cannot steer a parked car; it must be moving to head one direction or the other. Likewise, if you want direction, you must begin to walk, to take steps.
As you walk uprightly, God is delighted and will attend your every step, directing you and protecting you. Even if you stumble, Spirit will support you and keep you on the path.
Shall We Dance?
When a couple waltzes, one must lead. Your partner, the Spirit of God, is feminine in principle and must be led. You can stand hand in hand, face to face, until the music is over—but if YOU do not step out and begin to dance, Spirit will not move! Only when you take the step and lead will Spirit accompany you and weave a beautiful rhythm and pattern into your future. (See James 4:8a.)
Invite Spirit to dance to the music of your purpose, and see what beautiful moves you will together make.
